If desired, remove chicken skin. Divide chicken into two resealable bags.
For marinade, in a small bowl combine 1/2 cup lemon juice, oil, garlic, salt and black pepper. Pour over chicken.
Seal bags; turn to coat. Marinate in refrigerator overnight. Turning occasionally.
Prepare the BBQ sauce.
Grill 50-60 minutes over indirect, medium heat. Until no longer pink
Brush chicken with BBQ sauce after 20 minutes of grilling. And frequently during the last 10 minutes.
